The CEI Group, Inc. has introduced a new DriverCare Web-Based Training lesson that instructs Work Truck, Cargo Van, and Commercial Vehicle drivers techniques for coping safely with the hazards of winter driving.

Winter Driving” is a 25-minute interactive lesson that uses animation, high-impact sound effects and a narrated text to teach drivers the best ways to avoid accidents under such typical winter weather conditions as snowfall whiteouts, freezing rain, black ice, snowmelt runoff and fog.

How Old Are the Tires on Your Commercial Vehicle?

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

ABC’s investigative correspondent Brian Ross reports, “Shelf life matters when dealing with tires.”
(View the video below)

As a fleet owner and/or driver of Work Trucks and Commercial Vehicles, it’s important for you to monitor the age of your tires.  The truth of the matter is, even if a tire has excellent tread and appears in perfect condition, time causes all rubber to degrade.

If your commercial vehicle needs to be replaced, you can count on T&B Auto for the best selection of used cargo vans, work trucks, passenger vans, and utility trucks.

Save Money on Fuel – Inflate the Tires on Your Work Truck

Monday, November 16th, 2009

Though it’s true Barak Obama received some laughs for his recent claims that inflating your tires could save the country billions in proposed oil costs, our President’s underlying argument is sound—Inflating your tires increases fuel efficiency.

“You can improve your gas mileage by around 3.3 percent by keeping your tires inflated to the proper pressure.  Under-inflated tires can lower gas mileage by 0.3 percent for every 1 psi drop in pressure of all four tires.”

You might not save the country billions, but you’ll certainly save yourself a few dollars.

If interested in learning more about how to maintain a fuel efficient work truck, or if you are looking to purchase a more fuel efficient work truck, come visit us at T&B Auto Sales.  We would love to visit with you.

We Sell Commercial Vehicles with “Honesty”

Friday, November 13th, 2009

Speaking the truth to one’s customers is an important element to maintaining a reputable business.  Lies and half-truths, on the other hand, are sure fast tracks to betraying a customers’ confidence and, in turn, losing his or her business.

A well-known American businesswoman explained it in these words,

“Honesty is the cornerstone of all success, without which confidence and ability to perform shall cease to exist.”

At T&B Auto Sales, employing honest professionals and presenting honest information is the way we do things.

If you’re shopping for pre-owned cargo vans, work trucks, passenger vans, and utility trucks, we encourage you to keep us on your list of preferred choices.

Shop our inventory not simply because we sell great work trucks, but because we aim to maintain respectable standards as well.

If you’re shopping for used cargo vans, work trucks, passenger vans, and utility trucks, our inventory changes daily.

Used Work Trucks: A Good Investment

Friday, November 6th, 2009

Consider the financials.

Whether you’re looking for a single work truck vehicle or a whole fleet of cargo vans, this purchase is a major expense for your organization.

After researching, you should be able to derive at least some idea of what you might expect to pay for what you need. With that figure in mind, carefully assess your budget and come up with a reasonable price range.

Let your sales professional know you’ll be counting on him or her to help you find pricing options that fit within that boundary.

When you’re ready to buy a used cargo van, work truck, passenger van, or utility truck, we’ve got the best inventory selection in Arkansas.

Commercial Vehicle Quest? Experience Pays.

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

Ask around.

Do you know someone around you that has purchased a work truck, cargo van or passenger van?

Perhaps nothing speaks with as much authority as experience, so asking colleagues with similar needs what has worked best for them.  While you at it, find out about what hasn’t worked out so well for them.

This can give you invaluable direction as you launch your search for commercial vehicles for your organization.
